I have a confession: I didn’t actually leave the house on Christmas.

Yes, I picked out an outfit…and no one even saw it.

I literally walked out on my porch, fed my cat, went back inside and hung out in my craft room all day. Watched movies, ate some junk food, and painted a bit.

BUT, it was Christmas and what better reason is there to wear sparkly shorts?! (I know, I’ve already done an outfit post with these shorts. But I love them.)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Hope everyone has a beautiful day with family and friends and we all remember the reason we celebrate this season every year.

And the doggies wish everyone a Merry Christmas, too. They hope you get everything you’ve ever dreamed of. ;)

My mom, brother, and I had a small little Christmas gathering (is it a “gathering” if there are only 3 people?) at mi casa yesterday evening. We ate pizza like a true classy family and opened gifts. Pretty stinkin excited about the loot this year.

Scored a drill set (which I’m more excited about than any female should be), a hammock (!!! …won’t be delivered til the 28th, though), a purse, some good tupperware, a lens thermos, iTunes card, treats, electric hand warmer (for shoots…genius), some lotion, nail polish, and a sweet new iPhone case. And a bicycle seat cover, which I didn’t get a photo of because it was on my bike.

The dogs “opened” their gifts too. I got them some new bowls, bones, a new bed, and a little gift for each dog. Baron got a tire/rope toy, Koen and Eden got tug ropes in different colors, and Jane got a monkey “baby”. (She had a stuffed lamb, her “baby”,  for awhile when I first got her and the big dogs tore it up.)

Naturally Baron and Jane got into a biting/growling fight over the “baby” and I currently have scratches on my hands from breaking it up.

Tis the season.

Made a boo-boo on keeping up with my bank account this last month and I’m currently so broke that my mom had to buy gas for me for the first time (ever!) and buy the dogs food so they could eat. (This time of year is so stinkin slow. I hate winter.) And I’m pretty much cleaning out my fridge eating everything until I can go grocery shopping. Today I ate a frozen pizza, rolls, and a piece of fish for lunch because that’s all I had in my freezer. I’m awesome.

In all my “I-have-no-jobs-and-no-money” boredom I’ve been trying to get back into crafting again. I’ve been a little uninspired lately, but I’m hopefully getting back into the swing of it. I’ll share little DIYs soon. I’ve also planned the redecoration of my entire office. Kinda excited about it. You know, when I’m not poor.

Ramble ramble.. Outfit photos..

Leather jacket, hot pink lipstick, ripped tights, studded shoes, messy/dirty hair.. I was apparently embracing my inner badass yesterday.

(Until I accidentally stab myself with the shoes, then I whine and cry about it.)
