I’ve been on the hunt for some 70s style high waist jeans for months now, and never could find quite the right pair. I opted out of bell bottoms, simply because I have short legs and I just didn’t see that trend working out for me. I ended up falling in love with a pair of skinnier jeans from Modcloth and had to have them immediately! I love that they have more of a 50s feel to them. (I also love that they’re called “Social Norma Jeans”. Modcloth always has the best names for their items.)

And please ignore my freakish cheekbones going on in some of the photos. No idea. Also ignore the food stain on my pants. I’m awesome.

1) Young the Giant

I could possibly be behind the times, but I just now got into this album and love it. The lead singer’s voice reminds me of Paolo Nutini. (Only Stephanie will truly appreciate that.)

 

 

2) The prettiest vintage dress.

I want it so bad! The measurements would fit me perfectly. If anyone has an extra $235 laying around and is feeling generous…I’d be happy to give you my mailing address. ;)

It’s FINALLY getting cooler and feeling more like fall weather. About time! :)

My cousin Emily and I finally got around to doing her bridals the other afternoon. All of these were taken on my land…the little wooden swing was rigged by my grandpa and has been there since we were really little. (My house was built by my grandparents.)
