A couple of shots of my two youngest babies, taken after they woke up the other morning.
Confession: All my dogs have middle names, except Jane. She’s just Baby Jane.
Or Damnit Jane, depending on the day.
peace.

Just popping in to share a few more shots of this little nugget!
He’s so ornery.
It was kind of fun to shoot where this video was shot. I freaking love this song.
I am also supa excited that I am FINALLY caught up on everything! It felt so good to see no photos to edit in Lightroom. Now I have 10 days with nothing to do before my only shoot this month.
Let the laziness begin.
peace.

I’m aware I haven’t done Friday Five in awhile. Let’s face it.. I can’t keep up with things. (And even as I write this it’s technically Saturday.)
1) THE shoes.

Here’s a little story.
I had originally wanted a pair of studded heels by Vince Camuto that I had found in Dillard’s. I was in The Colony last week, so Tarzan and I ran by the mall and I decided I didn’t want to spend that much on a pair of shoes. So we left.
We ended up coming back to the mall a bit later and walked through Nordstrom…and… There they were. *heavenly music plays*
I picked up these Sam Edelman pumps and whined to Tarzan a little about how bad I wanted them. Then we walked away to go look for shirts for him. And before I knew it I had wandered back to the shoe section. Twice.
And then I whined the whole way home. (Sorry, apeman.)
I got back to my house that night and looked on Amazon.. Low and behold, they had a used pair for quite a bit cheaper! I have never pushed a “Buy” button so fast in my life. They were in my hands within two days and all was well in the world.
And that is the tale of the most expensive shoe I have ever bought.
2) “The Golden Age” by The Asteroids Galaxy Tour.
Definitely a quirky song. The video…is weird. haha.
3) This child.

I took some photos of Larkin and Shay when I was in TN. He lights up my life, temper tantrums and all. And my heart melts when he calls me “Minnow”. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since Shay and I went to Ethiopia to bring him home. (I’ll have more to share soon.)
4) New bed!

I know, it’s a dumb thing to get excited about. haha. But my previous bed was a total piece of crap and made horrible squeaking noises EVERY time I moved or a dog moved. I think that’s why I ALWAYS slept on my couch.
So I got a new mattress (the dogs had chewed my old one) and a sweet new bed frame from IKEA. Annnd I never want to leave my bed now.
Also, my room has more bright colors than a 5 year old’s.
5) This perspective.

A good thing to remember.
And, uh…yea. I haven’t posted a 52 weeks entry on here in a looong time. So here are the latest ones.
Dallas bound tomorrow for Emily’s bachelorette party. Excitement ensuing.
peace.

Yay for these two finally getting married!
And yay for finally getting caught up on editing!
And double yay for how beautiful this wedding was!
Some of you may remember Kelly and Kyle’s engagement photos from last November. So glad I got the opportunity to spend some time in Tennessee for their wedding weekend!
And mad props to my second shooter, Wade, for some awesome shots. I was blown away by what a great eye he had. Glad Kelly and Kyle have talented friends. ;)
I’ll have a Friday Five post tomorrow, then I have one more shoot to share, then I’m going to start working on my tattoo project. Get excited and stuff.
peace.
