So…yea.. I’m slacking. Laziness got the better of me this week and I pretty much accomplished nothing. I think my subconscious is trying to slow down when it has the chance. Next month is going to knock me on my butt!
So here’s Friday Five, just a little belated.
(Make sure you click the link!)
All the bright colors…I die.
2) Shoot with Mistie May.
Made the trip to Lawton on Thursday to do some fun photos with Miss Mistie. I got to play with balloons! :D Can’t wait to see the rest.
3) Dramatic reading of a break-up letter.
Gage showed this to Heather and Cash and I on Wednesday when I was at Beauty From Pain. I was telling them how when people WRITE lyke thisssss I read it as it’s written…random yelling, and those words that just drag on. It drives me crazy. Haha.
4) Speaking of being in the shop..
(Sorry for the crappy Photobooth pictures…I’ll get a better one once it’s not at that nasty, peeling stage.)
Yay! I have one more session to go, just gotta find the day to squeeze in an appointment next month. Gotta finish up the teapot and add the rest of the color to the cups. The little flowers on the bottom tea cup light up my life. Thanks Gager.
I think once I finish this one up, I’ll do a post on all my tattoos and the story behind them. I get asked pretty frequently what they all mean, and it takes me like 30 minutes to explain them all!
5) “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster The People.
This song kicks ass. I bop along like an idiot when it comes on.
Here’s this weeks 52 weeks submission.. I found a cheap wig on bay. Took advantage of that sucker.
I was going for a modern day Little Mermaid theme. I’m not sure if I succeeded or not.. haha. I kind of liked this one a bit better, but…I dunno..
I’m determined to kick things into high gear today and get stuff done. I’m three shoots behind on editing! Ack! :(
peace.

Yet another beautiful beautiful wedding! I felt so blessed to be part of Rachel and Nathan’s story. The entire day felt so stress free and laid back. I loved sitting in the bridal room with the girls while they got ready and watching them goof off. (There are some hilarious photos resulting from one of those wire head massagers. Turns out they provide cheap entertainment!)
Halfway through the ceremony Nathan sang a song for Rachel, and I most definitely teared up. This is the second time I have a cried at a wedding I was shooting.
I don’t even know who I am anymore.
Here are some favorites!
Rachel and Nathan, thanks so much for letting me be a part of your big day! :)
peace.

1. Oh, Chandler.
Seriously…I love that guy. I wouldn’t watch Friends if Chandler wasn’t on it.
2. This adorable shot from last weekend’s wedding.
Rachel mentioned doing some photos with bubbles and they turned out to be my favorites from the whole day. SO CUTE! I’ll get more edited over the next week and share more. :)
I stumbled upon this blog on pinterest (this couple has the most amazing striped hallway…I died) and then discovered they’re from OKC! Kathleen is an amazing designer and has killer style. I blog stalked for about an hour. Woops.
4. This amazing bouquet.

(found here)
I’ve been on pinterest pinning wedding stuff like crazy, even though Heather’s wedding is more than 11 months away. So much pretty stuff out there!
5. This video of the Rockettop fellas.
My favorite song, plus it was recorded in Cash and Heather’s house (that’s the room I usually sleep in…ha!) and recorded by our lovely friend Ryan. It makes me happy.
Here’s this week’s 52 weeks..
The pink fades SO fast, I ended up dying it again. I mean I wanted to just have it for a bit, but longer than 5 days. haha.
Outfit photos…not many. I was lazy this week.
Today Heather, Cash, Lane, and Cole are all in town so we’re having a water balloon fight. :) Photos to come soon, I’m sure.
peace.

Sammo was one of my very best friends junior/senior year of high school, and without getting all mushy (because I don’t do that), he’s one of the coolest people I know. Plus he gives the best high fives known to man. I was so excited when he and Jessica (who I also went to high school with!) asked me to do their engagement shoot…seriously, so much fun was had. Sam has a weird sense of humor (we love him for it) and Jessica is such a good fit for him. There were a lot of humorous out-takes that day, which, naturally, are posted at the end. ;)
Out-takes, duh.
So stinkin excited for their wedding in January! I’ve become aware lately that I’m finally at that age where my friends are starting to get married. It makes me feel super old. haha.
Hoping to get a little sneak peek of last weekend’s wedding posted within the next day or so. It was so freakin cute!!
peace.
