The last month or two I haven’t had much luck finding any treasures at Goodwill…it’s just been the same old thing. I went in yesterday and had to stop myself from buying a large amount of crap I didn’t need.
So, naturally, I walked out with a small amount of crap I didn’t need.
I’m currently trying to figure out where the heck in my living room I’m going to fit this $19 gem..
It needs a good deep cleaning and I want to figure out a cute way to “patch” those holes, but the color and shape are so perfect! I most definitely saw it at the same time as an older man and I will shamelessly admit that I practically raced him to the check-out to claim it.
I’m selfish, get off me.
I also found some more pretty goodies.
A sweet polka dotted crop top, a belt, a leather purse, possibly my new favorite wedges, pretty colored books (I’ve been looking for an old dictionary and found a pink one…score!), and some tiny mushroom magnets.
All for.. 35 dolla.
*arm pump*
Debating whether or not to head to OKC tonight. I reeeaaally need to take my 35 f/1.4L into the shop to be checked on. The focus has been way off lately, and it’s lost its sharpness. :( I’m afraid they’ll have to send it in and I’ll be without my favorite lens for a few weeks. Mega sad face.
But I’m lazy and don’t want to leave my couch today. We’ll see what happens.
So far the couch is prevailing.
peace.

Saraya was my very first workshop student back in April! She and her little fam braved the heat last Sunday for a few family pictures…which mostly ended up being pictures of Chayse running around, but what can ya do? ;) She kept pointing at random things and talking in baby gibberish. Cutest thing ever.
After the session ended we were standing by my car talking, and Chayse decided she needed my Cube. There was a very unhappy baby when I had to leave and she had to get out!
I just got back from Goodwill and scored an awesome mid-century turquoise chaise for $20! It needs a bit of cleaning, but it’ll be worth it. I snagged a bunch of other cute stuff too. I’ll take photos and share tomorrow! ;)
peace.

I’ve had so many requests for maternity photos lately…I swear there must be something in the water.
(Remind me to stay away from the water.)
Sara and Casey are expecting Miss Sloan in a few weeks, so we got a few sweet belly shots before she makes her entrance. :)
(On a totally random but somewhat related note.. I forgot my first shoot ever the other day. For some unknown reason, I completely forgot to write a date on my calendar and then DIDN’T SHOW UP. I’m quite certain I almost cried when I realized it and I’m still not fully recovered. I’m stupid.)
Back to work I go..

Just popping in really quick to share a couple of favorites from last weekend’s trash the dress session with these two.
I offer an optional bridal session with all of my wedding packages, and Danyelle opted to use hers as a trash the dress session after the wedding. When she mentioned a Hangover theme, I was all in!
Also…
On a random but sad note, the pink has almost faded. :(
There’s still a smidge of pale pink, but I plan on bleaching it back white tomorrow. Sad face.
I’m heading to Edmond in a bit for a shoot with one of my workshoppers (not a word) and her little family. Hoping it cools down just a little…this Oklahoma heat is killer. :/
peace.
