So, I royally stink at blogging as of late. And for this I apologize.

BUT, I have lots of fun things on deck.. Two workshops (a couple and a senior), some shots from Norman Music Festival, and some ballin cupcakes Heather and I made.

I can say “ballin”, right?

Anyway.. I’m in OKC and I’ll be back home in a couple of days to get some work done. So BRB, y’all.

peace.

I loved this girl! Loved her awesome red hair, the clothes she brought, her red lipstick, and just the overall fact that she was so much fun and easy to work with. It was one of my quickest shoots…every shot was gorgeous!

I’m so so so thankful for the rain we’ve had the last few days! Luckily it hasn’t interfered with any of my shoots. We needed it so bad!

I hope everyone had/is having a great Easter Sunday! My mom, brother, cousin, and I all went to Freedom Biker Church this morning. It was an outdoor service, and I have to say I really enjoyed sitting in the drizzling rain with all the biker weirdies. ;) (I’m aware that sounds like sarcasm, but it’s totally not…it was so freaking awesome.)

After church we had a small lunch with all the close family. Stephanie managed to find a recording of this show from when we were 12 or 13ish..

Does anyone remember this?? It was on MTV, first as a movie then they made a TV show. It’s kind of a spoof on all the boy bands that were popular. We LOVED this show, and I definitely still have both their albums. Not even remotely ashamed.

I’m heading to OKC tonight for a workshop tomorrow…will share on Tuesday. :)

peace.

Mother Nature was not a huge fan of Miranda and I. In the hour and a half that we were shooting we had bright sun, insane winds, rain, and then some more insane winds. And then there was that weird pinky orange sky that we get before a storm…doesn’t make the prettiest color cast for photos.

Despite it all, homegirl was a good sport.

I wrote “homegirl”, deleted it, then wrote it again.

I’m trying to stay true to myself here.

Anyway…sneak peek!

Seriously, the wind was RIDICULOUS.

The clouds from my last few shoots have been crazy. I have a special place in my heart for cool clouds.

Senior shoot tonight, then Easter tomorrow! :D I hope everyone has a safe holiday with your families, and remember why we celebrate.

Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
“Do not be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they laid him.”

Had a short ‘n sweet session with Tanner a couple of days ago. I’ve been pretty lucky with the senior boys I’ve had this year…such great attitudes. This shoot was actually fun and I never felt like I was making his life a living hell. haha.

Oh, and here’s my 52 weeks for this week. Nothing great.. I wish I had more time to do some more crazy/fun stuff. :(

peace.
