I laughed SO much during this shoot…Kathryn, her mom, and her sister (Jenna) remind me so much of my own family. Just the right amount of tough, sarcastic love. ;) It was a very chill, no pressure, kind of shoot…and those are my favorites. :)

Oh and I don’t know what I did to suddenly please Mother Nature, but we had the most perfect weather I’ve ever had on a shoot! Little to no wind, not too hot, not too cold, not too cloudy, not too sunny…it was a rare occurrence!
I should have known the next day would be super windy, and then day was cold. I mean…seriously?

Enough blabbering. (I seriously talk way too much sometimes. Most of the time. Kind of all of the time.. See, I’m doing it again..)

Annnd our winner for Friday’s Rockettops CD giveaway:

Yaaaay Rachel! (Rachel is going to be helping me shoot a wedding this summer. I’m starting to think we may be long lost BFFs. This contest was not rigged, promise.)
Email me wif your shipping info, lady!
And thanks for all the music suggestions! I’ll be doing a lot of downloading today.

Workshop tomorrow! Kinda excited! (Hopefully it warms up significantly.)

Oh, and speaking of excited..

I’m currently bleaching some extensions. The lady at Sally’s didn’t think I could get them white. I’m determined.

I’ll keep you posted.

peace.

Tired of seniors yet? Hope not, because we’re not even CLOSE to being done. As a matter of a fact…I have 15 more to go. And I’m sure there will be more!

(P.S. If you’re wanting to book me for senior pictures, I would get on that pretty quick.. I’m starting to fill up fast now!)

Rachelle and I roamed around downtown Marlow for a bit and other than some very uncooperative wind at the end of the shoot, we were blessed with pretty awesome weather! She also brought along her sweet pup, Snowflake.. She was precious. :)

(I thought Rachelle had the prettiest smile!)

Proofs are going up now. :)

“Can’t Touch This” just came on my ipod. There was dancing.

I’m only about 73.8% embarrassed to post that.

Friday Five… round three!

1. I love all of Camila do Rosário’s work, but this is a favorite.

Beautiful.

2. New rings!

I’ve been hunting for replacement rings since this incident and I’ve gone a liiitttle crazy. There are so many cute ones though!

3. Hubby’s new video..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JULmTgPPQ7k

Not sure who that brunette bimbo is. I just wasn’t available on the day they shot the video, that’s all…

4. If things don’t work out between myself and Mr. Wertz, I’d totally be willing to take this lovely man..

Mr. James McAvoy.
I love a Scottish man. I think “love” doesn’t properly describe my obsession. I think Scottish accents are truly a gift from God. *melts*
(Confession: Heather and I watch clips of Craig Ferguson interviewing James McAvoy ALL the time. It’s our favorite pastime.)

5. A friend shared this link on my Facebook this afternoon…

I have a special place in my heart for cheap, disposable cameras. Can’t wait to try some of these!

Random photos from the week…I’m on a texture kick.

This week’s 52weeks. I just wrapped myself in a sheer curtain and called it a day, took 5 minutes. (I’m getting lazy.)

Annnnnd this week’s wardrobe remix submissions. I stuck with it all week for once!

I’ve been loving all the awesome feedback from the few people who have won Rockettops CDs over the last several weeks. So glad you guys are loving them as much as I do!

So how about another giveaway? :)

Leave me a comment with your current favorite song (I’m hunting for new music!) and I’ll choose a winner at random on Sunday!

I’m off to make a trip to Goodwill, then a senior shoot tonight, then dinner for mi madre’s birthday!

peace.

Another gorgeous senior girl!

Courtney came from Lindsay to see me yesterday afternoon. She and her “stylist” (her friend Kelcey…I’m doing her senior pictures in a few weeks!) made the shoot a total blast. And I pretty much wanted to steal all the colorful dresses Courtney brought.

Nice belt, Courtney. ;)
(We decided her shirt needed a belt and she didn’t bring one, so I happily undressed in the parking lot and let her wear mine. baha.)

I’m off to go get ready and get some errands run. Yet another senior girl this evening!

peace.
