I did photos for these two kiddos about a year and a half ago…can’t believe how big they’ve gotten! Daly was such a good sport, and by the end of the shoot Blakeley was telling me where to take photos.
I loved D’s blonde fauxhawk and B’s little gray skinny jeans. :)
(Out-takes)
And this is when you know the shoot is coming to an end.
I still have one spot left (March 7th) for my one-on-one workshop! Let me know if you’re interested. Also, I finally picked my second shooters for the wedding…congrats to Elizabeth, Johannah, Katy, Mary S, Rachel W, and Mary R! Can’t wait to work with you guys. :)
(If you applied and didn’t get an email back, no worries! I’ve kept everyone’s name on file to use if I book any more weddings!)
This week’s 52weeks submission. It gives me the heebs (stingrays are not my favorite creatures), and it was kind of an accident, but it works.
Hoping to get some editing done on a senior shoot tonight. Tomorrow I’m headed south to visit my brother and Tarzan again. Excited to get out of the house some more!
For now, I’m hanging in my p-jams.
peace.

Sharing a few things from my week..
Randomly decided to make chicken and dumplings (from scratch!) the other night.
It was…an event.
I thought it’d be fun to roast my own chicken, not realizing I’d have to remove all the gizzards and bleh. I turned into a total girl…did not want to stick my hand inside that chicken! Tongs may or may not have been used. I think the whole removing-the-chicken-gizzards ordeal lasted twenty minutes, and there were both tears and hysterical laughter.
Seriously…God bless my future husband.
Got it done though, and it was good! Not the absolute best I’ve ever had, but I conquered the chicken. That’s all I cared about.
Also…I made rainbow cupcakes. :)
It was worth the little extra effort.
Spent last night in Oklahoma City (I was going nuts in Duncan…I hit my limit and needed human interaction) and just got home a few hours ago. The weather was so beautiful today! I roamed around my land for a few minutes and took some photos.
FYI, I now only have ONE spot left on March 7th for the one-on-one workshop! All the info is in the previous post. I was kind of overwhelmed with how quickly it filled up. Already getting nervous!
Also, I’m still receiving a few second shooter applications for this summer’s weddings and, again, I’m pretty overwhelmed with the response. As of right now, I have 17 applications to go over. I may use a different shooter for each wedding until I find a good fit to use as a regular. Either way, promise to make my decision by Saturday. :) Can’t wait to work with some of you!
I have a shoot tomorrow with some familiar kidlets (did some photos for them in Sept. ’09) and their parents. And then a shoot with an awesome senior girl on Saturday in the city.
Can I just say how freakin excited I am to be working again? Glad things are slowly picking up. Winter is dumb. ;)
peace.
