Just a quick post! Did a little mini-session bright and early last Sunday morning, and wanted to share a couple of favorites with you guys. Miss Kambri was a total ham! Cracked me up. :)
I’m in OKC (again!) for some shoots this weekend…I have two band shoots, a senior girl, and an engagement within the next two days. Busy busy! I’ll share soon. :)

Sixteen year olds should not be this pretty. There were so many times throughout the shoot I forgot she was 16…had suuuch a blast with this girl.
And her eyes are un-freakin-real.
Little brother John hopped in a few too..
This blog would not be complete without our out-takes. We found this house that had been torn down, and there were random baby doll limbs laying everywhere…soooo creepy!
And then we found a cat skull. Or some other strange creature. Bleck.
Hoping to get a father/daughter shoot edited and blogged by tomorrow. Also had a great senior girl shoot this evening…can’t waaaiiit to get to those. We had some awesome light!
I’m going to get back to editing. My aunt has been watching TV the next room over, so I used the headphones my mom got for me like, two Christmases ago…this is probably the second time I’ve used them. Ha. :)
…not that you could see them over the big hair, which isn’t even that big today. Woops.

(Can I just say how weird it is typing “2011″? Kinda feeling old.)
Could not have had a better guy to kick off senior photos for the new school year…Tyler was super laid back and totally comfortable in front of the camera. It was another of those shoots where I had to remind myself to stop jabbering away and actually take photos. :)
Tyler, I’ll have your proofs up by this time tomorrow. :)
Had a suuuper fun shoot with a gorgeous 16-year old last night, and a little daddy/daughter mini-shoot bright and early this morning. So since I have some time off until Tuesday evening…this girl is heading up to OKC for the evening for a girls night. Heather and I are dressing up, going out to eat, and going to a movie…closest thing I’ve had to a date in quite awhile, sadly. haha. :)

I have to be completely honest: I have not wanted to start work again.
The last few weeks I’ve been feeling incredibly uninspired and just…stuck.
Little did I know, it would just take two days of working for me to jump right back into it.
I’m so weird.
Granted, I’d still love to be gallivanting all around the world, jumping from one plane to another, and spending ridiculous amounts of time in my car…but the last couple of days have made me realize just how much I love this job. So. Much. Fun.
Wednesday I shot the boys from Eloi Eloi up in OKC. I had absolutely no plan going into this…I was actually quite nervous. But things worked out and we just happened to come upon some awesome locations.
Thursday night, more promos…this time with The Sound Kinetic. We lost light entirely too quickly (probably due to the extreme levels of ADD going on between the three of us) and ended up doing a few shots in the dark, with the majority of the lighting coming from my car headlights. Oddly enough, I’ve only done the old car headlight trick one other time…last February…also with Austin. Ha! Nonetheless, they ended up being my favorites.
We also poked around an old abandoned drive-in. Sooo awesome. The projectors and concession stand were even still up. (Well…eh…kind of.)
And then we proceeded to play in the rain.
(You guys look so jovial.)
It was a win all around, what can I say.
Had a senior shoot tonight with an awesome kid (I’ll share those soon), and I’ve got a shoot every day this weekend. Which is probably a good thing…I have a feeling if I made any effort to slow down anytime soon, I may just crash. haha.
Oh! And the state fair the other night was lovely. Granted, all I did was eat a turkey leg and a funnel cake and have a margarita…but what more do I need? I mean, really.
I got a sweet bracelet too. I’ve obtained quite a little collection this summer.
Alright…I’m off to get a bit more work done, then I’m probably going to bed early. (Early = before 3am.)
