Hullo dearies!
I’m trying to blog as much as possible while I can, before I’m off galavanting around the world for awhile. So I wanted to share some of my favorite blogs with you guys! This is where I go when I’m needing a bit of inspiration, or just need some eye candy. :)

I got so much inspiration from this blog when I was decorating my house. It’s hard for me to look at it and not want to move just so I’ll have an excuse to decorate again..
These are seriously just a few favorites…I stalk a ridiculous amount of blogs..
Made a trip up to OKC last night to go see my new cousin, Miss Olivia! She’s a preemie, but other than that she’s doing great and cute as can be. As my uncle so elegantly put it, “She’s so pretty and screaming!” Ha. :) Didn’t take my camera to get any photos…I’ll get a few when she gets out of the hospital. (Hopefully soon!)
So I am less than a week away from being in Nashville, getting my backpiece! I feel like this is all I’ve talked about lately, but I’m really excited. I’ve had this tattoo planned out for almost a year…definitely the longest I’ve ever had a tattoo planned. (By far…I have a tendency to get them on a whim.) After that I’m heading to Atlanta with my favorite people to spend 4th of July weekend. I am beyond excited!
Lastly, I really want to go to the zoo. Who’s in?

I think it’s definitely good for me to take little “breaks” from photography on occasion, even if it’s just for a couple of weeks, because I’m feeling less like this is a real job again. I had a blast on the shoot with these two kiddos (they’re so cute!) and I was really excited with the way the photos turned out. I feel like everything got way too “routine” for awhile and I was falling into the same poses, locations, processing, etc. over and over again. This was a nice little breath of fresh air.

And we found a little friend while we were downtown..
I haven’t seen a horny toad since I was about 8! I was moving some trash out of the way (such a glamorous job I have) and he took off running. Aw!

Lastly, 9 days until I leave for Nashvegas…which means 10 days until tattoo number 12! This is the first tattoo I’ve really been super nervous about…it will be my largest and probably most painful. Eep! Still excited though. :)

I literally JUST realized this is my 200th post! I missed number 100 last year, so I decided to do a little giveaway…details at the bottom. :)
I know I said I would blog on Thursday, but my insomnia totally kicked me in the rear. I ended up staying awake for a little over two days, thus making myself sick. I spent the majority of Thursday laying in Heather’s bed watching movies and being delirious.
And for some reason she thought letting me watch Fight Club for the first time would be a good idea. Not the best movie for someone currently struggling with severe insomnia.
Finally fell asleep Thursday night, slept 12 hours, awake for an hour and a half, then slept 3ish more hours. It was completely ridiculous! I’m headed to see the doc on Monday and hopefully getting some Ambien, which is the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me. Most nights my weirdo sleep schedule doesn’t bother me a bit, but it’ll be nice to have on those random occasions when I absolutely cannot fall asleep.
SO, that being said, I missed posting about the launch of WhatToWear.com on Thursday morning! It’s the first fashion website where you can get free style advice from professional stylists and fashion bloggers. I was approached a few weeks ago about being a Featured Stylist, and I’m really excited about being part of this. I’ve been internetless at my house the last few days so I just got a chance to browse around on the site and.. oh-em-gee! It is awesome! SO EXCITED.
Also, when I first got the email I couldn’t decide if it was a joke or not. Ha! I buy all my clothes from target and forever 21, and most days I just throw a bunch of random clothes on and call it a day. Who knew.
Got in from OKC last night and watched this with my madre and brotha..
Seriously almost teared up. And I never cry. It was cute.
AND AND AND!! I got these in the mail yesterday! I LOVE SURPRISES IN THE MAIL!! :D
These cuties are from sweet Iliana…I met her last time I was in Nashville, for the get-together. I took her to her first tattoo shop! Haha!

I have come to the decision that if anyone ever says dogs are not like children…I will punch them.
This week alone, I have escorted five frogs out of my bedroom because Jane and Eden kept bringing them in. They don’t hurt them or even mess with them…they just bring them in my house and let them go. I mean, I’m thankful they’re not killing them, but I am NOT a fan of frogs. :P
And then at 4:30 the other morning, I find Jane like this..
Played in the mud, then proceeded to trample throughout my house. So she got a bath at 4:30am..
…and she wasn’t overly pleased with that decision.
It’s a good thing she’s cute.
I’m finally heading up to OKC tonight. Be sure to check back tomorrow because I’ll be posting the link to a new fashion/style website that I’m going to be a part of. It’ll be launching sometime tomorrow morning!
Also, found this lovely in my mailbox today..
Miss Chelsea (from my Ethiopia ’08 family <3 ) got it for me while she was on a mission trip in Ecuador. I love love love it! Thanks Chels…miss your face. :)
