All with a group of my favorite people. :)

I absolutely cannot get over how much I love this song called “The Life I Keep” by Whitley lately. The lyrics are beautiful..
On the day, you take the life I keep
Take me in my sleep, while I’m counting sheep
In the deepest dreams of butterflies
With visions of my day
On that day, don’t let my lover weep
Take her in her sleep, while she’s counting sheep
In the deepest dreams she closes her eyes
I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
I still haven’t found what I’m searchin’ for
I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
I still haven’t found what I’m searchin’ for
On that day, let my friends come
And remember what I’ve done
Both righteous and wrong
Both heinous and beautiful, yeah they so match your ways
On that day, don’t let my lover weep
Take her in her sleep, while she’s counting sheep
In the deepest dreams she closes her eyes
I still haven’t found what I’m lookin’ for
I still haven’t found what I’m searchin’ for
I still haven’t found what I’m lookin’ for
I still haven’t found what I’m searchin’ for
I know I’ve mentioned this guy on my blog several times, but I just think he’s super talented…and cute…oh, and he’s Australian..

(Every female reading this blog just checked out his myspace, I’m calling it.)
I’m a little bummed that he’s no longer making music, but what can ya do. His “The Submarine” album is one of my top five favorite albums ever. I should probably find it on vinyl..
I woke up at 7 o’clock in the freaking morning today. Voluntarily.
I have decided from now on I will only take Ambien when I absolutely have to get up early the next morning…Amanda Keith does not do 7am. Unless I’m going to bed at 7am.
However, I did make breakfast! Scrambled eggs, blueberry muffins (I’ve been working on the perfect blueberry muffin recipe for like 6 months…I think I’m almost there), Ethiopian coffee, and orange juice. I for real actually squeezed the orange juice myself…and then couldn’t wait to get the photo taken before I downed 90% of it.. Woops.
Good stuffs.
I leave for Nashville in two days, and Ethiopia in one month. Adventures await. <3

Can’t believe I don’t have any more shoots until September! I know I’ll be busy enough that I won’t even notice, but still. Crazy.
I got really excited whenever Amanda emailed me awhile ago about using sidewalk chalk for some of their photos. SO CUTE. It was fun drawing a little “scene”, and I’m sure the employees of the business where we used the parking lot were rather confused this morning when they got to work. :) I know we got some weird looks from people driving by, but it was worth it..
They brought their sweet pups along too. Every time we’d walk away from the car, their bassett would start whining. It was precious!

Today I stayed in my p-jams, cleaned out my closet, and put off washing my hair for one more day.

peace.

I have a few errands to run and then an engagement shoot tonight, so I wanted to leave you all with some pretty things to get you through your day.
This shirt, found on lookbook.nu. Hilarious..

This dress and these sweet earrings from modcloth. (They no longer have the dress in my size! Sad face.)

That color makes my heart happy.
This ice tray. :)

RAWR.
A reader shared her sister’s blog link in my comments the other day…this post was enough to make me bookmark it. <3

Makes me miss my fort I built in my living room last winter. I may need to rebuild it when I get back from E-country.
Adorbz. Thanks Ruth!
My brother found a vintage radio yesterday morning and I woke up and found it (and an old chair) on my porch. Ha! It looks like I’m starting some kind of weird, outdoor vintage furniture collection. I still want so badly to clean up that turquoise leather couch. The radio will make it in my house when I get some wood glue to fix the missing front piece…and I find some room for it. :) Should I paint it or leave it as is? Opinions?

Alright, I’m off. This shoot I have tonight is my last shoot until September.
SO WEIRD.
