It was a pleasure hanging out with Timothy and his sweet momma yesterday evening, and I am quite thankful that Mr. Sunshine decided to come back out.
And yea, I totally just got a session done in one night. Holla atcha gurl.
(I’m all about a quick turnaround time!)
Sneak peek! :)

So I’m really hoping to add to my Etsy shop soon…it’s been quite neglected, and that saddens me. :( I’m trying to work on a couple of paintings in between editing and shoots and everyday nonsense.
*sigh* Someday there will be enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I want to…and still get some sleep.
Hopefully. haha.
I feel like I’m finally prepared for how busy the next few weeks are going to be. GOT MY GAME FACE ON.
Still working on my game face.
peace.

P.S. Slight PSA…and I’m normally the type to leave things like this alone, but with a bunch of my friends being musicians, this REALLY REALLY bugs me.
I know I have a lot of photographers who read this blog….guys, if you want to have music on your website PLEASE get permission from the artist or don’t use it. Think of how upset you’d be if you found out someone was using your photos without permission. It’s the same thing. Be considerate of other artists and their work!
Annnd that’s all.

Seriously, this might have been one of the easiest shoots I’ve ever done. This girl was a BREEZE to shoot, and such a natural in front of the camera…dead serious, I took half as many photos as I do on normal sessions and still had a hard time narrowing down favorites. Even the editing came easily.
Considering I’ve done nothing but edit for the last several days and this was my last session to edit until Monday night…I’m so very thankful. :)

Check out those clouds! AHHH! We were taking these right as the storm was rolling in. (We had to stop once to wait out the rain, and at one point I fashioned a stylish waterproof cover for my camera thanks to a Walmart sack.)
Being completely caught up on editing means one thing..
I am going to catch up on four days of sleep.
And I am thoroughly looking forward to it. :)
Happy Sunday ladies and gentlemen. And leave me some comments! :)
peace.

Another out of town senior! Kayla and I got lucky with the weather last Thursday…look at that sunshine!
That warm glow combined with the green grass…makes my heart happy. I thought this dress Kayla brought was perfect for this setting. Loooove.
More photos. :)

I’m SO NOT HAPPY about the weather this weekend. SNOW?! Really? On the first day of Spring? It’s like a really sick joke. Come on, Oklahoma. And I had a super fun engagement shoot all planned out in OKC yesterday.
Not. Happy. At. All.
Having the night off, however, did mean I got to have some chill time AWAY from my computer. My cousins and brother and I hung out for a bit in Lawton. I ate some sushi, had some bubble tea, stole some of my brother’s ice cream, then we all came back to Duncan and I FINALLY got to see Alice in Wonderland. I absolutely loved it…and I completely fell in love with the Mad Hatter.
Not Johnny Depp. The Mad Hatter, as in the actual character.
I need a Mad Hatter in my life. I think we’d get along well.
So as of right now, I’m on 8hrs of sleep total (woo cat naps!) in the last 61 hours. I think this is a new record for me…but oddly, I’m not that sleepy. I think I could live off of cat naps on my couch.
Lastly…
I decided to give myself a dread today. Next to my braid. :)
I still need to twist it more, but my comb broke. Lol. I’mma fix it tomorrow.
I’m getting in touch with my inner hippie. Bring on barefoot season. :)
peace.

PAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNTTT!
Seriously, I love paint shoots. I didn’t realize how much until I was flinging the paint on Tessa and having way more fun than she was. haha. Woops. :)
Miss Tessa came all the way from Harrah, OK to have her senior pictures done. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when people come from all over the state to visit me. Fun!
We had a freaking ton of fun…I love my job. It makes the fact that I’ve had one 2 hour nap and one 3 hour nap in the last 40 hours completely worth it.

And this is what I do while clients are changing outfits. ha.
Alright…I think I have pushed my hair to it’s limit. Between 5 days of it not being washed and piling on the hairspray and dry shampoo, the excessive wind, tonight’s rain, and a couple of restless naps on the couch, this is what I’ve ended up with.
Sure, it’s looked worse…but believe me when I say you do not want to feel it. Gross nasty.
I fully plan on washing it.
Later.
Within the next 24 hours.
Hopefully.
peace.
