I am so lucky to get to shoot the cutest families all the time.. These guys were a ton of fun! I’m quickly realizing that half the fun of shoots is just hanging out with my clients. I’m really blessed that everyone I’ve ever worked with has just been so much fun…shoots NEVER feel like work to me. :)
On to the photos…

Isn’t mom gorgeous? Her eyes killed me.
Jakobi’s Christmas dress…loved the zebra. :)
Annnd the boots. Those pink boots.
Don’t hate on Dakota’s pink boots.
Going to try to work through the night and most of tomorrow. I’m really cracking down on myself…the goal is to get everything finished before I leave for New Orleans on Friday. I’m not getting my hopes up, but it sounds good, right? :)
Engagement shoot up next..
peace.

P.S. Love Christmas lights, this flannel, and post-nap hair.

This is part deux of Candace’s senior pictures.. (Is it weird that every time I type her name, I always type “Candance” and have to delete it? Yes?)
As you may recall, we did her first set with her hair long, then she chopped it off and we did some more photos…personally, I LOOOOVE her short hair…

Ha. :)
So I finally decided to bleach out the dark underneath my bangs tonight…I am convinced my hair probably glows in the dark now.
If I wasn’t scared of the dark, I’d totally test it out.
Family shoot next! I think…things are all starting to run together…what day is it.. ?
peace.

(haha…Christmas gift for parents shoot? I don’t know.)
Lots of talking on this shoot, mostly because I hadn’t seen Caitlin since high school. (We used to be in newspaper together…hands down my favorite class in high school!) She brought a ton of outfits to choose from too…sooo excited!

I love how easily her eyes caught light..

The ultimate 4-year old cheesy grin..
Note to self: Bring breakfast to the next morning shoot so your client doesn’t eat the grass from the location.
Proofs are going up! Senior girl neeext..
peace.

Dear Caitlin,
Thanks for the sweet new kicks!

I honestly don’t think this shoot could have gone any better! Definitely one of my favorite family photo sessions to date. This family is so comfortable in front of the camera and each other…it really made my job SO easy! There was never any of those awkward forced smiles or uncomfortable poses. I just got lucky and got a family full of models. :)

I seriously do not do this on purpose.
Had two shoots today…about to take a nap (I’m running on four hours of sleep) and then start on the first one!
peace.

P.S. Recently obsessed with this leather jacket and wearing ribbons in my hair.
Also, doubling myself in Photoshop.
