After getting my friiieeed logic board replaced, my darling macbook pro is back in my arms, safe and sound.
Want to know what I learned last week?
I can’t function without my laptop…and I am completely fine with that.
So now I have a ton of shoots to catch up on! Wee!!
I was reeeaaally worried that I had lost this set last week, because it was the only set I didn’t have backed up, but luckily everything was fine. Taylor and I had some amazinnggg light at this shoot!
I know she’s super ready to see these, so I’ll shut up. :)

Proofs are going up as we speak, Taylor!
I am fixing to head up to good ol’ OKC to spend a much needed weekend away with my loves. I look forward to my Edmond/OKC visits every week. They keep me sane. :)
OH! And I’m totally going as Tinkerbell for Halloween. I know. I’M PUMPED.
peace.

So…my laptop decided to break last Tuesday night.

I was so excited about this shoot! Skyler was my first senior from Comanche! Which is sad…considering that’s where I graduated.. haha. :)
Loooove this shot. There’s this certain patch of grass downtown that NEVER dies. It can be mid-January and that grass is still plush and green. It completely baffles me, but I’m not complaining. :)

Proofs are going up as we speak, Skyler! :) Hope you love them!
Baaah…I know I’ve said it half a million times, but I’M SO TIRED OF RESCHEDULING! If it’s not the weather, it’s me feeling like my face got stepped on. (I still feel terrible.) I had to cancel three shoots this weekend and it depresses me slightly. :(
*sigh* So frustrated.
Anyway, on a more positive note…another senior girl up next! I’m super excited about getting these edited! :)
Also…I have watched this movie approximately 6 times this weekend. It will never get old..
And yes…I quote it on a daily basis.
peace.

(Two blog posts in one night! What what!)
*throws hands in the air* I’M FINALLY DONE!!!
I thought I was never going to get these all edited…I don’t know how many times I sent Gretchen messages telling her I hadn’t forgotten about them!
For those who don’t know, I met Gretchen on my Ethiopia trip in the summer of 2008. We were more or less attached at the hip the entire time, and I miss her all the freakin time!! When she told me she was getting married and wanted me to do the photography, I never even questioned it. I’m not a fan of shooting weddings, but I knew I wanted to be there to shoot hers. And I’m so glad I was! The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The whole evening was focused around the Lord and Gretchen and Alex’s relationship with Him, and I feel blessed that I was even a small part of their big day. :)
That being said, here are a FEW favorites. :)

Loved Alex’s face when he saw Gretchen.

Their first dance was amazing. It was one of those “you-had-to-have-been-there” moments.
To celebrate finishing up a whole session AND all my wedding photos tonight…I am going to sleep all day tomorrow. :)
peace.

G,
Thanks so much for letting me be a part of this, and for picking such an amazing location for a wedding. ;) I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures God leads you and Alex on! You’re both beautiful people and you’re going to do incredible things! I am seriously so blessed to have you in my life. Love yooouuu!! :)

(Worst photo of me ever documented, but I was sweaty and exhausted so I get a pass..)
