I met Caris this summer after spending basically every day eating at the restaurant she works at. I was so excited when she mentioned doing her senior pictures!
The shoot was super fun…I think we spent more time talking than actually taking pictures. Looove this girl.
Shneak peek. :)

We climbed through a barbed wire fence and walked through super tall grass to get to this creepy torn up building.
That’s our story and we’re sticking to it..
Also, new IJP rule…you make faces like this in front of the camera, they’re going to get blogged. :)

Engagement shoot next! Hopefully I can get it done by tomorrow morning. Trying to keep on truckin..
Also, I shouldn’t be allowed to wear tights.
peace.

P.S. As much as I hate it, I’m going to have to miss the Ethiopia trip this December. I took a peek at my bank account yesterday and there is no possible way I’d be able to afford it. I’m a little heart broken. :( I’m going to start saving for the summer trip though!

Another session down! We are rolling right along, ladies and gentlemen. :)
This beauty is running for Miss Oklahoma Teen USA in November and needed a couple of head shots. We had a quick mini-session (email me if you want details on what a mini-session is…I don’t advertise it on my website) and I ended up liking most of the full body shots more…go figure, right? :)

Oh and by the way, she’s only 15.
I know.
It’s COMPLETELY unfair.
Getting your proofs up right now, girl. :)
Also, a few more wedding shots. Editing these photos brings me so much joy…Gretchen and Alex planned a beautiful wedding, and it’s amazing to see a couple whose love for God is placed first and foremost in their relationship.
I’m trying to edit a bit of the wedding in between my other sessions. My Macbook Pro and I are getting plenty of quality time together this week. :)

I’m going to try to post a senior session tomorrow! Check back tomorrow night/Thursday morning! ;)

P.S. Mocha Club is taking a trip back to Ethiopia Dec. 27-Jan. 9! I’m going to spend the next couple of days praying about it, but if it’s in His will I’m going to need to raise about $2875 within the next couple of months. Be thinking of some good fund raising ideas, just in case. ;)

I’m so glad I’m finally getting to share this shoot! I got to hang out with these two kiddos a couple of weeks ago…they kept me on my toes, but they were so much fun!
Meet Daly and Blakely..

Giving big brother a dandelion. :)

Daly had some crazy somersault skills. Mom wasn’t too happy about the grass stains on his back afterwards…
And I thought this was hilarious…we were standing near the railroad tracks and a train came by. Apparently this was Blakely’s first train up close, because she was in some kind of awe.. :)
I’m trying to make my way through the hundreds of photos I took at this beautiful celebration between two amazing people in Georgia weekend before last. I needed to share a couple of favorites that I edited real quick. :)

I cannot BELIEVE how behind I am on editing. Between three more shoots and a wedding, I’ve never been this backed up! I’m going to try to knock everything out by this weekend…I might have some intense carpal tunnel by the end of it, but I’m going to get it done. :)
Also, I’m booking up for October pretty quickly, so shoot me an email if you’re wanting photos sometime next month! Just a heads up.
peace.

I don’t get to shoot newborns very often, so I was super excited to meet 8-day old Preslee. She slept pretty much the entire time!
I’ll always be an outdoor photographer at heart, but there’s a part of me that is starting to love dragging out my backdrops. :) I might have to invest in some lights soon. (The light in my office is pretty magical though..)
Anyway…sneak peek!
Cutest thing ever..

One with big sis Olivia in their tutus..

Three shoots this weekend! Yay for being busy! :)
