This is little Sarah.
I call her little Sarah because I’ve known her since she was a wee child. I spent a TON of time at her house when we were little, then she disappeared from my life and suddenly reappeared about a year ago! I had talked to her on facebook and myspace a bit then randomly ran into her in Walmart a few weeks ago…I almost cried! I feel so old!
But really, I’m SO proud of the young lady she’s become. She’s got a great heart and I know she’s going to do some amazing things in this world!
Her eyes kill me…GEEZ.

Off to get some proofs up, then to bed I go. :)
peace.

I’m not sure if I was just in a particularly giddy mood or if it was just the good company, but there was a LOT of laughter during Sunday’s shoot. Chance was a really good sport about the whole senior picture ordeal…most boys don’t necessarily look forward to it, but he never whined once. (Either that or I’ve just learned to block it out. haha.)
Sneak peeeek!! :)

Okay, and let it be known…I’m not posting this picture because it’s necessarily one of my favorites…but it took us a good ten minutes to get Chance in this pose and I felt it needed a special spot on the blog. Chance is a great kid, but I swear he can’t bend his legs. I can’t even be mad at him about it, it was just amazing in a sad way.

He’s going to hate me for that. haha! :)
And this is technically not a great photo by any means, but we just found this funny…Chance’s dad’s name is David. haha

Honestly, it was a really fun shoot and I enjoyed hanging out with Chance and his mom and his girlfriend…I can’t remember her name…Shelby, I think?

:) teehee She knows I love her.
Alright, the sun is peeking through my windows…that’s my cue to go to bed. :)

I would like to call this post… Seasons With Bailee. *insert cheesy music here*
Summer.
I met Bailee when I did her family’s pictures and my life was changed forever. Whether it was changed for good or bad, I’m still not sure yet. ;)

Fall.
Bailee made me pick her to be a girl senior rep for Duncan. She whined and cried about it until I was like “Alright Bailee, shut up!! Fine!!”
(And now let’s just say I’m glad I did…she knows why. haha)

Winter.
In January, I got to document a season of Bailee’s life. She has since entered a new season and we have come to the agreement that boys are just silly. :)
(But regardless, this is still one of my favorite photos I’ve taken.)

Spring.
And here we are today!
I did Bailee’s final senior pictures on Wednesday, and it kind of makes me sad. I know this won’t be my last shoot with her…I mean, really, I’ll probably eventually have to get a restraining order against the girl…but I will miss her dearly next year. I guess that’s one of the downers to my job. I get to meet these awesome kids and then I have to let them go after a few months. Boo.
Bailee probably wants me to shut up now so she can see her pictures. Actually, she probably skipped over all of this and went straight to the pictures. Ten bucks says I’m right!

Oh, and that huge furball is Mavrik. We planned on getting some pictures with him before we headed to town, but he decided playing in the pond was much more fun. So we came back later and we were racing daylight by the end of it.
Random thought that just came to me: If I ever have a band, I’m going to call it Racing Daylight.
(It’s seriously 5:00 in the morning. Get off me.)
Anyway…Mavrik really loves taking pictures with Bailee.

:)

P.S. I hope everyone realizes there is a wealth of sarcasm in this post. haha

Tuesday’s senior session was…eventful, to say the least. Tiffany drove all the way to Duncan from Lindsay and OH MY GOSH, I love her!
The first location we went to, I’ve always wanted to shoot inside of it but there was no way to get inside. Tiffany’s guardian (Mrs. Gentry) points out that there’s an open window. I wish I would have taken a picture of it…this window is like 6 feet up from the ground, and about 3 feet wide. I wouldn’t even consider it a window…just a hole in the wall. After I whine about not wanting to get arrested for breaking and entering, Mrs. Gentry said she’d bail me out…so I happily obliged. :)
So I proceeded to crawl through this window…and if you know me, you know I’m far from graceful…I now have all kinds of scratches and bruises. At one point I was flipped upside down, going head first through the window with my feet in the air…it was quite the spectacle. We got Tiffany through, then I walked to the front door…and I’ll be darned if it wasn’t unlocked.
Yea. I know.
Anyway.. I’ve met a lot of seniors, and I can always tell when a kid is going to go far in life, and let’s just say I can’t wait to see what Tiffany does with her life. She was so much fun and had such an awesome attitude. And I don’t think she questioned my sanity too much, which is always a plus.
Okay, I talk too much…here’s your sneak peek, girl! :)

This one CRACKS ME UP! That would be Mrs. Gentry in the background, with Tiffany’s graduation cap on. I about died.

Alright, it’s 5:45am…I guess I’ll go to bed now. :) ha!
peace.
