Just letting everyone know I’ll be out of town on vacation June 15th-21st! I’m not sure if I’ll have internet access, so all emails and phone calls will be returned as soon as I get back!

This cutie’s 2nd birthday is coming up, and his mom wanted some pictures to commemorate the event! He was a little iffy about the crazy lady with the black box stuck to her face, but after we gave him some bubbles (and about two rolls of Pez candies!) he was good to go. ;)

So I feel it’s time I got a little closer to my blog readers…so I must confess one of my biggest fears:

Family portraits.

No, seriously. Terrified of them. There’s something so…pretty…about them that I never felt I could pull off. I’ve always done the “grungy” thing a little better than the “pretty” thing. So when the M family asked me to do their family pictures, I almost said no. But I bucked up and did it anyway.
And I’m so glad I did! I had so much fun with them, and they’re the cutest family! You totally see how much they love each other within just a few minutes of meeting them, so I knew my job was going to be easy. They didn’t even give me a weird look when I suggested putting a couch on their front lawn…at least they didn’t to my face. ;) haha!

(Ok, I lied. I had to throw a LITTLE grungy in there…this location/mood was just too perfect for it.) ;)

Once everyone else was tired of having a camera in their face, Miss B and I had a little mini-shoot for her. Teenage girls NEVER get tired of having a camera in their face…which I’m totally not complaining about. :) Isn’t she gorgeous?

My new camera and lenses should be coming in sometime this week, so this was my last shoot with my Rebel! *sniff* Oh well, I’ll still have it around for back-up. :)
