So some of you may know my second love is good music (okay, and occasionally some bad music)…and I have a fairly lengthy itunes list to prove it. (And um, my wallet hates me because of it.) I’ve been waiting for Jason Mraz to come out with a new album for what feels like FOREVER, and he finally did! To make things better, the album is called “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.” Probably the best album name ever. (Hence my weird blog title.) Mr. Mraz is number 2 on my list of people I want to see play live. Jack Johnson currently holds the number one spot, but I’m seeing him in August so it looks like Mraz will be bumped up. Someday someday…

Anyway, haven’t listened to the full album yet but so far I can already tell I’ll be addicted to “I’m Yours”:
“Well open up your mind and see like me / Open up your plans and damn you’re free / Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love / Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me / A lá peaceful melody / It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love loved”

And “Details in the Fabric” has some good lyrics too:

And yes, the first thing I do when I buy a CD is read the lyrics. It’s not that weird.

Anyway. I’m still making my way through all the songs. Just thought I’d share. :)

how i missed thee.

Somehow I managed to go 6 days without Photoshop while I waited for my new version to come in, and I think I went a little crazy. I have several sessions to edit, so those of you waiting for your proofs…it’ll be soon!
