I decided it was high passed time I became a blogger. All my cool photographer friends are doing it…I wanna be cool. It’s worth a try, I suppose.
For my clients, I’ll be posting sneak peeks of sessions here as well as different deals and sales I’ll be having. Just a way to keep everyone up-to-date without mass emails. We all hate those.
I think… Do we? Or is it just me?
This is also going to be my ramblings blog. If you know me in person, I don’t talk much. But I’m quite the typer, my friends. :)
To kick things off I asked some friends of mine (for future reference, when I mention “the peas” or “2peas”…those are my photographer buddies) to ask me some super random questions. Basically because I have nothing else to write about. *shrug*
Moving right along..
“Which ONE of your shots best describes you and your style?” – Kristi
It’s one of my favorites. They’re young. They’re having fun. And it’s the most random thing ever. I think that’s my style…young, fun, and slightly random. And I guess that describes me too, with emphasis on the “random” part.
“If you had to sing one song for American Idol what would it be?” – Bobbi
“Billy Brown” by Mika. Hands down. (Go download it now. Or at the very least, look up the lyrics. But it’s better with the Mika falsetto.) I can’t sing to save my life, so might as well do SOMETHING to get myself on TV. If for some strange reason God decided to bless me with the voice of an angel…”Beautiful Disaster” by Jon McLaughlin. Because the song is pretty. And so is he.
“Which one of your dogs has a personality most like yours, and in what way(s) are you similar?” – Gwen
I love this question. Probably Baron. He doesn’t behave appropriately in public. He barks at people and thrashes about…
I feel I should stop at this point and say our similarities end at behaving inappropriately in public. I do not bark at people. Or thrash about.
Most days.
“Knowing you want to shoot music artists, what artist would you want to do a shoot for the most?” – Jenn
Jack Johnson. No questions. Or if for some strange reason I couldn’t…my second choice would be Matt Wertz. Because he’s very talented. And he seems really fun. And the fact that he’s incredibly attractive plays a large part in my decision.
“What famous photographer would you love to second shoot under? (thinking I already know the answer, but still…)” – Jenn
Jeremy Cowart. (Oh, Jenn. She knows me too well.) I want to be him. Or I at least want a job like his. Hanging out with rock stars all day AND getting to play with expensive camera equipment? Yes, please.
“What is your most embarrassing moment?” -Corinna
*sigh* I have a lot. Really. Here’s a fun one: Last year, Amanda (best friend, not talking to myself in third person) and I went to see Matt Wertz in concert. This was my second time to see him, and I was already smitten. He was in between songs, everything was silent, and Amanda giggles and says “I dare you to scream ‘I love you’” to which I, without even giving it a second thought…without even thinking about how stupid I’d sound…yelled in the most pathetic, quivering voice “I love you!!!”
*crickets* Dead silence.
Yea. I have a really great best friend by the way.
Well, that was fun. :)
I have a newborn shoot tomorrow afternoon…I’ll post some sneak peeks of baby Cooper as soon as I can! I love newborns. :)
